Elegant Exit Company (EEC), in collaboration with Conoship International, has completed the concept design of a high-capacity Floating Dry Dock (FDD), marking a significant milestone in the development of EEC’s integrated ship lifecycle platform.

Designed for Panamax-scale vessels, the versatile facility brings together three complementary activities within a single industrial platform: shipbuilding and modular assembly, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO), and Green Ship Recycling (GSR).

The concept incorporates dedicated infrastructure for environmental containment, contaminated water capture and processing, alongside integrated heavy-lift handling capabilities. By combining operational versatility with controlled industrial processes, the design seeks to establish a scalable alternative to conventional beaching practices.

The completion of the concept design provides an important technical foundation for the next stages of project development, including financing, site selection, regulatory alignment and further engineering.

For EEC, this milestone advances a broader vision: transforming end-of-life vessel management from a standalone dismantling activity into an integrated, responsible and commercially sustainable industrial process.
